There are countless public and private scholarships available to University of Central Florida students. Scholarships are awarded for a variety of reasons including academic achievement, financial need, campus and community involvement, and leadership experience, and generally do not need to be repaid. 

Here are options available to you through UCF to secure funding:

Conference, Registration, and Travel (CRT) Allocation2020-11-26T12:06:34-05:00

An allocation is facilitated by Student Government. Funding amounts are determined based on needs but can be up to $200 for networking conferences and $400 for presenting, with a $100 supplement for international travel. A CRT allocation can be used in conjunction with a Presentation Fellowship.

“External” awards are sponsored by government agencies, private foundations, corporations, and other organizations outside the university. Some of the most well-known external awards are offered by the National Science Foundation, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Ford Foundation, and Fulbright.

UCF has more than 1,300 graduate students who have assistantships. These appointments provide students with academic or professional development experience while at UCF that will help prepare them for their future work in research, teaching, or other activities. Graduate assistants receive a stipend for the duties that they perform, and UCF provides tuition remission and health insurance coverage for all qualifying assistantship appointments.
